Jens grew up in a family-owned car dealership in White Horse, Yukon. He spent some time working as a Stock Broker but eventually returned to the car business. He has lived in Campbell River for 7 years and he loves it! Jens is married and together he and his wife enjoy outdoor activities such as backpacking and hiking.
Heather has been the Office Manager for Coastline Mazda since March 2007. Prior to this she worked for Steve Marshall Ford in the Accounting Department. Heather grew up in the Comox Valley and she has had the privilege of raising her children here as well. Life outside of work consists of enjoying camping, fishing, horseback riding and spending time with family.
Allen began his career in the car business as a Sales Consultant at Steve Marshall Ford. In a very short time he worked his way up to Finance Leader. When he needed to spread his wings some more he moved to Coastline Mazda and became Sales Manager. Allen believes strongly in working hard AND playing hard, he tries to be the best that he can be in all areas of his life. He is happily married with 4 kids. He likes to play slo-pitch and poker and he is a huge fan of the Chicago Blackhawks!
After many years spent working in Customer Service Stephanie decided it was time for a change. She began her career with Coastline Mazda as a Sales Consultant in the summer of 2007. Six months ago she became our Finance Leader. Stephanie is married and has 3 grown children. She loves to spend time with family and friends and her dog Salem.
Hayley spent the first 10 years of her life on the lower mainland. Her family then moved to Victoria
and lived a very active lifestyle. Hayley moved to Campbell River approximately 2.5 years ago with her
husband and children. They love it here and enjoy all the beautiful outdoor experiences Campbell River has to offer. They have not yet found a moment living here where they couldn't find some form of adventure to go on as a family.
James has lived in Campbell River for 20 years. From a very young age (6!) he worked for his father at North Island Communications. He also spent almost 5 years working in carpentry before joining the Coastline Mazda team. James and his wife, Emily, enjoy bowling, hiking and camping. They hope to raise their family in our beautiful city.
Rick has spent 40 years in the Automotive Industry; 20 as an Automotive Technician and 20 as a Shop Leader. He grew up on Vancouver Island and has been in Campbell River for 23 years. Rick feels lucky to have been able to raise his children here. He likes camping, mountain biking and playing, as well as building, guitars.
Les has been an Automotive Technician with Mazda since 1969. He moved from the lower mainland to Campbell River in 1975 to work at our dealership. Les is married with 2 grown children.
Before joining the Coastline Mazda team Brian spent 11 years in Custome Service. He is married with one child. Brian was born and raised on the Island and has been in Campbell River for over 20 years. Brian and his family love the outdoors, mountain biking and backpacking. He enjoys "a little motorcross action".
Marty has lived in Campbell River for 3 years, which is the same amount of time he has been at Coastline Mazda. He was born and raised in Quebec. He is happily married with 5 kids. He enjoys hiking and photography.

Karl bought Coastline Mazda in March 2007 with his business partner Steve Marshall. Karl's automotive journey started in 1996 when he started selling cars for a mid-island Toyota dealership. In 1999 Karl moved to the lower mainland to manage a Ford dealership in Langley until finally moving back to the island to join the Steve Marshall Ford Lincoln in Nanaimo in early 2002. He moved back to his hometown of Campbell River in 2004 to work with Steve Marshall Ford. Being a Mazda dealer is like coming home for Karl, as his father was a Service Manager for a Mazda dealership when he was growing up. Karl enjoys the outdoor lifestyle of living in Campbell River with his two children Gage and Halle. You can find them camping, waterskiing and boating in the summer and on the ski hill in the winter.
